1. Purpose

These Platform Rules outline the standards of behavior expected from all users of Selda.ai ("Selda", "we", "our", or "us"). Our goal is to maintain a safe, professional, and fair environment for everyone building and automating businesses using our AI-powered platform.

These Rules apply to all actions within Selda.ai — including chat interactions, campaign creation, email automation, message content, and any other use of our services.

2. General Principles

By using Selda, you agree to:

  • Act lawfully, ethically, and respectfully.
  • Use Selda's AI and automation features responsibly.
  • Protect confidential and personal information.
  • Avoid activities that could harm Selda, its users, or partners.

Selda reserves the right to review, suspend, or terminate any account that violates these principles.

3. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Selda Platform to:

a) Illegal or harmful activities

  • Break any law, regulation, or court order.
  • Engage in fraud, impersonation, or deceptive marketing.
  • Promote violence, hate speech, or harassment.
  • Sell or distribute illegal goods, services, or content.

b) Spam and unsolicited communication

  • Send bulk or automated messages without consent.
  • Misuse Selda's email or messaging systems (Mailgun, LinkedIn, SMS).
  • Bypass anti-spam or anti-abuse mechanisms.

c) Data misuse

  • Collect or process personal data without consent.
  • Violate GDPR, CCPA, or any data protection laws.
  • Share or expose private information of others.

d) AI misuse

  • Use AI-generated content to deceive, manipulate, or impersonate real individuals.
  • Generate or distribute deepfakes, disinformation, or explicit material.
  • Attempt to re-identify anonymized data.

e) Security violations

  • Attempt to hack, exploit, or reverse-engineer the platform.
  • Interfere with systems, networks, or APIs.
  • Access data or accounts that you do not own.

f) Intellectual property

  • Copy, resell, or redistribute Selda's platform or code.
  • Use Selda to infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or other IP rights.

4. AI and Automation Use

Selda's AI is designed to assist users in legitimate business operations, such as:

  • Lead generation
  • Outreach and communication
  • Campaign creation
  • Productivity automation

You agree to:

  • • Review all AI-generated content before sending or publishing.
  • • Take full responsibility for the final content shared with third parties.
  • • Disclose when AI-generated messages are used in communications, if required by law or platform policy.
  • • Not train or build competing models using Selda's data or responses.

Selda may automatically detect and block misuse of AI features, including abnormal message volume, offensive content, or fake identities.

5. Content Standards

All content generated, uploaded, or distributed through Selda must be:

  • Accurate and not misleading.
  • Respectful and non-discriminatory.
  • Free from violence, pornography, hate speech, or abuse.
  • Appropriate for a professional business environment.

We may use automated tools and manual moderation to review content for compliance.

6. Reporting Abuse or Violations

We encourage users to report any form of abuse, spam, or policy violation.

Please include:

  • • The user, organization, or campaign involved.
  • • Description of the issue.
  • • Evidence (message text, screenshots, or URLs).

All reports are confidential and reviewed within 5 business days. Severe cases (e.g., harassment, fraud, or data breaches) are escalated immediately.

7. Enforcement and Penalties

Selda reserves the right to:

  • Warn users about minor infractions.
  • Temporarily suspend accounts or features.
  • Permanently terminate accounts for serious or repeated violations.
  • Report illegal behavior to law enforcement when necessary.

If your account is suspended or terminated, you will be notified via email with the reason and available appeal options.

8. Appeals Process

Users may appeal enforcement decisions by emailing appeals@selda.ai within 14 days of notification.

We will review appeals fairly and respond within 30 days.

9. Platform Integrity and Monitoring

To ensure platform safety and reliability, Selda may:

  • Use automated systems to detect spam, abuse, or unusual patterns.
  • Monitor public or automated messages for compliance.
  • Log technical data for investigation and audit purposes.

Monitoring is conducted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Consequences of Violation

Violating these rules may result in:

  • Suspension of access or features.
  • Removal of content or data.
  • Legal action or claims for damages.
  • Notification to relevant authorities.

Repeated or severe violations lead to permanent termination and data removal under GDPR Article 17 ("Right to erasure").

11. Updates to These Rules

Selda may modify these Platform Rules at any time to reflect changes in law, technology, or community standards.

Updated versions will be published at https://selda.ai/platform-rules, and significant changes will be communicated by email.
